Wow! 5 months! Looking back, I've officially taught for 5 months, which is the longest period of public teaching I've ever had...
During these 5 months, lots of things had happened, being the pleasant or unpleasant ones, proud or embarrassing moments, sweet or bitter memories... Sometimes it shakes my stand, at times it strengthens my will... Working can be so fun, and yet so demanding.. Teaching can be so insightful, and still at times, meaningless... I can either overcome "hurdles", or be thrown right under it.. Sounds scary, huh? =P
Well, that's exactly what I'm thinking now.. I love teaching! I really do.. But to think it over, have I gave my best? Have the students benefitted from my teaching? Is my effeciency decreasing? In which areas are improvements needed? Many questions swirl around my head, but I don't seem to figure out all the solutions..
Maybe it's good that I'm putting a halt by August.. It may just be the right time for me to recollect my thoughts and set forth once more with a renewed passion for teaching.. I am sure that I'll be ready by the time my schedule allows me to pick up teaching again..=) By that time, I'll be ready to say: "I love teaching! Students, here I come!" (^^,)
